NYC

In June we took the boys to visit daddy at work. We ate some pizza, Andy got a haircut -- including the hot towel treatment, and we hit the Highline. By the end of the day, we had some tuckered out little guys.

Rowan's preschool graduation.

In June, Rowan graduated pre-K. It was a very exciting day, given the great progress Rowan has made this year. He's far from perfect, but he's learning to control his emotions and with each day, he's growing and making better choices. He's leaps and bounds from where he started, and we are feeling optimistic that Kindergarten is going to be a big success!

Congratulations, sweetheart! We love you and are so proud of you! 

the day the crayons quit.

Back in June, I took Rowan to a special event at a local bookstore celebrating one of his favorite books, The Day the Crayons Quit. He had a blast, and had the chance to be his favorite crayon in the book. The Orange one. The one that fights with yellow over which is the color of the sun.

Don't ever change, Rowan.

Well. . . maybe just a tad. It'd be kind of awesome if you listened to me once in a while. . .

muscoot farm.

We hit Muscoot Farm in Katonah on our way home from CT. While it's definitely not someplace I'd make a special trip to see, it passed some time and the price was right.
