niagara-on-the lake

As I mentioned before, Niagara Falls is great for what it is, but after a while it's nice to get out of town and do some exploring. We headed about a half hour outside of the city to the quaintest little place in wine-country called Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was a Hamptons-esque setting, located between Lake Ontairo and numerous vineyards. The restaurants were fun, the flowers on the street were abundant and lovely, and there was a place to stop for dessert on every corner. Plus, they had a playground. We had so much fun the first night, we decided to go back again the next night!
So, what's it like to be in a super-charming place while trying to control the unsophisticated tendencies of three young gentlemen-in-training? Glad you asked!
Here's Rowan, practicing his awesome manners, blowing bubbles through the straw into the bottom of his lemonade.

Here's Henry, about to let out a siren-scream that his cup of lemonade is empty.

Here's Andy, freezing. So cold, he can't carry on any conversation that doesn't involve him saying how cold he is.
Why so cold, you ask? He spiked a 102 fever, of course.

But he rallied, especially when it was time for dessert! His choice? Blueberry muffin from the bakery (both nights).

Goofballs.
Rowan was exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel. He fell asleep during the car ride home and was down for the night!

And here we are, back for more!
Handsome Henry on our last night.

Anderson's hand reaching for my precious camera, because he and Rowan wanted to take pictures.

But first, a good samaritan passed by and asked if they could snap a photo for us of the entire family. Yes, please!

Rowan's turn.

Anderson's shot.

Good-bye Niagara-on-the-Lake. You are lovely.
