happy spring!

we're ready!

"I'M NOT GRUMPY! I'M HAPPY!"

What's worse than the terrible two's? A terrible two's toddler who thinks he's not terrible.

Rowan was terrorizing the table at lunch on Sunday, all the while insisting that he was feeling happy-go-lucky. I can only hope -- for all of our sakes -- that this lack of self-perception does not remain throughout the rest of his life.

Don't be fooled by the pictures. We were the talk of the restaurant. I just didn't have the hands to take pictures when things weren't somewhat calm. And trust me, every calm moment we had, is captured right here.

Sorry I went missing here yesterday. The day was over before I knew it! We took Andy back to the immunologist for a followup appointment and it sort of took over the entire day. Grocery shopping at night, and before I knew it, I was in bed.

Over the weekend we had our first picnic of the season on the boardwalk of Sunken Meadow. It was a bit colder and windier than we might have liked, but it was a step in the right direction! Hope you had a lovely spring weekend as well!
