Our Andy is almost turning 4. Doesn't he look so big in these pictures? Amazing.

Keith Haring at the Brooklyn Museum.
Going back in time a few weeks. Here are some pictures from our trip to the Brooklyn Museum to visit the Keith Haring exhibit. Super inspiring!
If you're interested, there was a short article in the New York Times about the exhibit as well, which you can find here.

i know, i know. . .
you thought I abandoned you! and the truth is -- I almost did. To put it bluntly, I've been too pooped to post! But I am back, with lots of things to share. Especially now that my camera is cooperating again. I'm going to ease into things with just two cute pictures of the boys fresh and clean from their baths.
I know. It was wrong of me to keep this cuteness all to myself. I'll do my best not to let it happen again.

ice cream sunday.
It's almost summer, which means it's totally acceptable to eat ice cream for dinner as the sun sets over Northport Harbor! Hooray!

mother's day weekend: the grande finale
Sunday we spent Mother's Day in a daring attempt to take the boys out to a restaurant -- in public. Given the fact that our waiter was only three days new to the job and took twice as long to serve us as he should have, the day went fairly well. Especially since our expectations were super low after Rowan had an epic meltdown prior to us leaving for the restaurant, Henry had cried the entire ride to Mom & Dad's house, and Andy was complaining before we ever left. Oh, Happy Day!
All things considered, it still was a beautiful day, and I am so happy and lucky to be their mom!
But that doesn't mean I won't tell on them when they're misbehaving. . .

back to mother's day weekend: saturday
On Saturday, we took the boys to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale. In my honest opinion, I didn't think it was as pretty as the Planting Fields Arboretum we visited here, but it was a beautiful day and watching the boys have a blast running on the huge lawn was awesome!
See that tree in the top left corner? It had a walkway underneath where the boys could run around and feel like they were in their own little tree house!
Nevermind my veiny feet! Just focus on the cute baby!

mother's day weekend: friday.
On Friday, Andy invited me to a Mother's Day Tea at his preschool. He made me many special gifts, including a beautiful flower pin, a plant, and an interview that he gave, discussing all of the things he loves about his mommy. Apparently I looooooove to do the dishes!
He also sang a few songs with the rest of his class -- classics like last year's "I love Mommy" (sung to the tune of "where is thumbkin") and some new ones like "You are My Sunshine" and "Skinnamarinky Dinky Doo." Of course, I cried when he pointed to me and sang: "I loooove you, you, boop boop be doo."

Then we snacked on muffins that he and his class made special for our little soiree.
And last but not least,

Andy spilled juice all over his super-cute outfit.
